Gottman Workshop on the Seven Principles for Making Relationships Work

For over 40 years Drs. John and Julie Gottman have researched the interactions of more than 3,000 couples to understand what couples do to grow closer, and what they do to grow apart. Over the course of three Saturday afternoons in April, JJ Lee of Sage Healing Arts in Reno, NV, will take a small group of couples through Dr. Gottman’s groundbreaking book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work.

JJ Lee, MEd, LADC, LADC-S is a licensed addiction counselor and Certified Gottman Seven Principles Leader. Like myself, she has also completed the Level 3 clinical training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and has been working for behavioral change for more than three decades.
This workshop will teach you how to:
- Improve friendship, fondness, and admiration
- Enhance romance and intimacy`
- Manage conflict constructively
- Address perpetual and solvable problems
- Create shared meaning
- Maintain gains throughout a lifetime
The workshop class format includes instruction and exercises to practice at home. Participants will not share their personal problems in front of others. JJ invites you to please register with your partner or someone else with whom you would like to practice the exercises. You will be asked to complete a brief screening at the time of registration to ensure that this program will be appropriate for you.
Tuition: $175 per couple, if registered and paid in full before March 15; $195 after. Fee includes workbook for reference and all sessions.
